  I met some friends here in the bar after work. The atmosphere is vibrant and fun (i.e., a little noisy), and the food is good. I have also eaten several times in the restaurant, which is quieter and also good. A charming historic building.

  Always awesome. Quaint setting in a revolutionary era restored toll house. Great art, including Wyeths. Jerry the waiter is among the best servers I've ever experienced. If you're considering Sullivan's, you'll be way more satisfied here.

  Perfect dining experience. The staff was welcoming and efficient. The Tavern dates back to 1717 and we were provided with it's complete history. A wonderful setting for an exceptional meal. We ordered short ribs in a wine reduction and a Black Angus center cut strip steak. Both dishes were top tier and cook to perfection. I base all my steak comparisons against my first choice, being Keen's in NYC. Brandywine Prime certainly held it own against the best. Pricing was on the mark for the quality delivered. We would definitely return and recommend.
